Workshop dates are October 24th-25th in Malibu, California
Cost of workshop is currently $1800 (but will increase to $2000. Last day to register for the $1800 price will be September 24, 2018). If you know me you know I love amazing gowns, so it’s going to be lit! Registration doesn’t include hotel fees/meals that aren’t included. Workshop will be held in sunny California at the gorgeous Rocky Oaks Malibu!
Topics include film stocks, artistic directing, metering, shooting for publication, destination weddings, elevating your business, portfolio review, Q and A with Heather from Amorology and so much more! Come learn and be inspired!

Please remember that workshop space is limited. Once those spots fill up registration will be closed! Workshop registration fees are non refundable.
Do I have to be a film photographer to attend?
Absolutely not! Even if you’ve never held a film camera before, this workshop would be great for you. Plus if you don’t own a film camera as there will be extra ones for you to play with.

What airport should I fly into?
Are hotel and meals included?
Hotel is not included and once you register we will give you more information as to where you can find hotels near the venue. Meals included are:
- Breakfast will be on your own for each day.
- Day 1 lunch included, dinner on your own.
- Day 2 lunch included and farewell dinner included.
What topics will be covered?
Let’s be real. We want you to leave with a great understanding of shooting film (this isn’t just a shoot for your portfolio type of workshop–although you will definitely get portfolio worthy pictures). We are going into film stocks, what we use, why we use them. We will cover metering, backlighting, finding great light, shooting in harsh light, shooting in overcast conditions, shooting while it’s raining, shooting at noon, shooting with movement, artful storytelling, cinematic posing, shooting for publication, destination weddings, and so much more! If you’re newer to film or just starting out, not getting consistent results, feeling uninspired, needing more help with posing, or need more film knowledge this is definitely the workshop for you! We want you to leave confident reaching for your film camera during an entire wedding day or portrait session.

Is the workshop fee refundable?
No it is not. It needs to be paid in full at the time of booking.
Where can I find a hotel?
Can I use images in my portfolio? Yes, if they are credited as being photographed with Trynh Photo + Lucy Munoz workshop along with vendors credits
What should I bring? Notebook, pen, laptop, cameras for photo shoot, comfortable clothes, your portfolio, your marketing material, pricing, etc.
Should I bring a film or digital camera? Bring whatever you are used to shooting with. We’ll also have some film cameras for you to play with.
What should we wear when we are shooting? Bring jeans, walking shoes, and sweater.
What is the weather like? usually sunny, however a little cooler in the mornings and evening time (please make sure to check weather forecast before you pack).
