My goal in mentoring aspiring photographers is that you leave with the knowledge of how to elevate your brand and book your ideal clients, successful submissions to wedding blogs, artful storytelling and posing, directing, curating your feed, from photographer to artist, editing, systems that make sense, and refining your brand. Even if you’ve been shooting for awhile, you might feel stuck in a price bracket that you can’t seem to get out of.

What topics will be covered?
I will cover metering, backlighting, finding great light, composition, shooting in all types of light, posing, shooting with movement, artful storytelling, crafting a narrative, shooting for publication, destination weddings, breaking into the luxury market, elevating your artistry and so much more! Whether you are newer to photography or have been shooting for several years, this workshop is jam packed with information and is definitely for you!
Is the workshop fee refundable?
No it is not, but you can transfer it to another attendee. We hit the ground running booking venues, acquiring gowns, florals, paper goods–you name it! As such, it needs to be paid in full at the time of booking.
Can I use images in my portfolio?
Yes, as long as vendors credits are included (soon to follow).
Can I submit for publication?
Yes, as long as vendors credits are included (soon to follow).
What should I bring?
Notebook, pen, laptop (the teaching part will have you log into a Google meet so you can see presentation slides), cameras/lenses for photo shoot, film if you’re shooting with a film camera, comfortable clothes, water and snacks.
Should I bring a film or digital camera?
Bring whatever you prefer!
What should we wear when we are shooting?
Bring jeans, walking shoes, and anything comfortable!
