Mentorship for new film photographers

Mentorship

New to film photography and don’t know where to start? Or need a fresh start to refine your brand? Don’t worry, I got you covered!

Trust me, I’ve been there. My goal in mentoring aspiring film photographers is that you leave with the knowledge of how to meter, which film stocks to use, communicating with your lab, successful submissions to wedding blogs, artful storytelling and posing, directing, curating your feed, and refining your brand.  Even if you’ve been shooting for awhile, you might feel stuck in a price bracket that you can’t seem to get out of. First we need to decide what path you . might want to take

  1. New to Film or
  2. Your brand 2.0

With New to Film we go over everything mentioned above and do teaching and shooting as well. We want to make sure you leave with some amazing portfolio images that you will be able to use, but also have the technical knowledge to shoot with film. After our shoot you will:

1.Curate your images from the shoot and send them over to me for review. We schedule a phone consultation and go over said images. We’re looking at light, composition, You will learn about the way I use the power of imagery to create paying clients

2. Two weeks-to a month later you will create a blog post for review (either from a real wedding or from the session we did together). Then we schedule a phone consultation and review the blog post

with Your Brand 2.0 it consists with us taking a very hard look at what you currently have and align it with where you need to go. We look at branding, elevating perceived value, curating your feed, positioning yourself in the market, brand awareness, and action steps. There is a shoot involved as well.

1.Curate your images from the shoot and send them over to me for review. We schedule a phone consultation and go over said images. You will learn about the way I use the power of imagery to create paying clients.

2. We go over website and refine (you will have insight after our first phone conference as to how I purge or keep images). You will have two weeks make some changes and we will review them at the end of two weeks.

3.  Two weeks-to a month later you will create a blog post for review (either from a real wedding or from the session we did together). Then we schedule a phone consultation and review the blog post

4. A month later send in Pricing guide for review
