“To complement the beautiful venue of DTLA VIBIANA, Southern California wedding photographer LUCY MUNOZ and stylist GREEN APPLE EVENT CO. combined textures of light and dark in a way that suited the surroundings. With so much history at the VIBIANA (which was originally a Catholic cathedral) they knew the backdrop would play a major part of the overall feel.

Lucy tells us, “We loved the idea of adding black accents to ground the design and wanted beautiful pops of colour to help soften and illuminate the architecture. Even though the VIBIANA is rich in history, we still wanted a modern feel to it. In the end it was a perfect marriage between old and new, light and dark, design and inspiration.” With stunning florals by WITH LOVE FLORAL, a gorgeous gown from WILLOWBY BY WATTERS and paper goods by the always amazing PLUME CALLIGRAPHY there’s inspiration abound for a classic loving bride.”
