This beautiful downtown Los Angeles Red Bird wedding was an amazing mix of great food, family, music, and lots of love. The day started with Brenda getting ready at a nearby hotel and I especially loved how everyone-Mom, Dad, and maid of honor helped get her dressed. There was so much joy it was contagious. I loved how every location was within a couple of miles and easy to get to. Brenda and Francisco decided on doing a first look at the Disney Concert hall and wanted to get some of the city skyscrapers in the background. Los Angeles is a place very dear to Brenda and Francisco because they both met one another at the law firm where they work at in downtown LA.

I had originally met this couple at the Red Bird restaurant to go over wedding details and instantly fell in love with them. They are the sweetest people ever and so down to earth. I knew their wedding was going to be so much fun and I was so excited to document it for them. Los Angeles has a big place in my heart as well. I grew up here and love the city the same way you love a little sister (don’t even ask me to explain it, you’d have to be from here to understand that–trust me).

When we arrived at the Red Bird I wanted to cry when I saw that Brenda had placed me with her guests at dinner (did I mention how much I love her?). It was such a sweet gesture and completely unnecessary. Brenda and Francisco danced it up all night long. But the best part was when they did their first dance together. If you see that picture above where Brenda is dancing and looking at Francisco almost as if saying, “We did it baby! We got married!”

It’s the way she’s looking at him. And It’s the way he’s looking at her. You know, the stuff that dreams are built on.

Please contact me HERE  if you’re getting married because me and my camera want you in front of it.
